Negley Volunteer Fire Department — a dedicated team of neighbors protecting neighbors. Over six decades of emergency response, fire prevention, and community service.
What began as a handful of concerned neighbors in Negley has grown into a fully equipped volunteer fire department serving Trumbull County. When emergencies strike — whether a house fire, vehicle accident, or medical crisis — our volunteers answer the call without hesitation.
We operate on a simple principle: your safety is our mission. Every drill, every piece of equipment, every hour of training is an investment in the people who share this community with us. No one gets paid to care this much. We choose this — every single day.
Dedicated local volunteers trained in fire suppression, EMS, and hazardous materials response.
Strategically positioned on State Route 170 for quick access throughout the Negley area.
Fire safety workshops, school visits, and community preparedness programs every year.
From fire suppression to community education, our volunteer team provides comprehensive emergency response and prevention services to Negley and surrounding areas.
Structure fires, vehicle fires, wildland fires, and hazardous material incidents — our crew responds with fully equipped apparatus and advanced training.
Basic and advanced life support response. Our certified EMTs provide critical care before ambulance transport arrives on scene.
Building inspections, fire code enforcement, and safety audits for homes and businesses throughout the Negley community.
Fire safety demonstrations, smoke detector installations, and school programs teaching children and families how to stay safe.
Vehicle extrication, water rescue, confined space rescue, and technical rescue operations with specialized equipment and training.
We're always looking for dedicated volunteers. Training provided — no experience necessary. Make a difference in your community.
Negley VFD isn't just a service. It's a brotherhood and sisterhood of neighbors who chose to look out for each other. Whether you want to volunteer, donate equipment, or simply learn more about our programs, there's a place for you here.
